FAQ's

1. Do I need a personal Chef?

Only if you are sick of unhealthy fast food, frozen dinners and wasting time at the grocery stores or restaurants. Even if you hire our service occasionally it can make your hectic life a little easier and can cost less than eating out.

2. Which service is best for me?

Lessons- great for people who want to learn how to cook better, more efficiently, or want to learn new techniques and recipes. Also great for a small get-together with friends.

"The Filled Fridge"- for busy individuals or families, new moms or simply those who do not want to spend their time and effort preparing meals or getting unhealthy take-out.

Dinner Parties- nice for anyone who wants to have a special evening at home with guests, impressive food, and no hassle.

3.  Can I afford a Personal Chef?

Yes, it is surprisingly affordable. I offer many levels of service to accomadate your individual needs and budget. Consider how much your time is worth,  the unhealthy meals you may be eating now, and the cost of restaurants and take out. You can afford "Leslie the Chef"!

4.  Why should I choose you?

                 1. No matter what option you choose, I tailor it to fit your needs. I have a  huge selection of menus and class options to be customized for you. I can also recreate an old family recipe on request.

           2. I have a hands-on approach, so you are able to learn more, ask all the questions you want, and able to duplicate the menus with ease.

           3. The relationship I have with my clients. You are always free to call or e-mail me with any questions or help with emergency food fixes. I also keep all of your personal preferences on file to process your next service with efficientcy.

5.  Why do you use my kitchen?

For lessons, it allows me to show you how to cook more efficiently in a residential kitchen with typical equipment, so you can recreate anything you choose. For "The Filled-Fridge" and dinner parties it allows me to prepare the food where it will be consumed, so it is as fresh as possible. Cooking in your kitchen instead of an expensive commercial kitchen keeps your costs low as well.

6.How long will you be in my kitchen?

-Lessons typically 2-3 hours for groups and private lessons are hourly

-"Filled Fridge" is usually 2-6 hours depending on your menus

-Dinner Parties are based on your needs, anywhere from 3-10 hours
